This the time that we celebrate our love. Love for one another, love that cannot be quenched. Love that is beyond imagination. There are those who are still waiting. That love is worth waiting for, in as long as it takes.
Some of us go astray in our love, and then we are separated from what was our first love. The great divide between two hearts is painful and rocky. It needs road construction to clear the pathway. That is something that only the willing heart that desires freedom can submit to. We must look for the obstacles that make our feet trip along the way. Do we even perceive that we have come across an obstacle or do we just go on as though it was never there?
The only road to recovery from broken love, is when we begin to see our journey through the eyes of the most purest love, God’s love. In order to do this, we must know and experience his love. The great divide between our heart and God’s is the gravest. If we do not have his love, we cannot proceed down the road of obstruction in front of us. His unconditional love for us gives us the perspective we need to look down the road. It helps us recognize our obstacles, bring the freedom that love gives, and restore our hearts. His love is the quiet whisper, the gentle nudge, the hand on the shoulder that we often forget is there. It’s not visible or obvious to everyone around you. It is the only love that you cannot survive without. He is the higher love that satisfies, fills us and paves the way from the obstacles on the road. He causes us to rise up, holds our hand and walk forward in his rich and extravagant love.
